Finally, Someone Else is Talking About Money Velocity!
Bruce Kasting of Business Insider gets it. On Wednesday, he wrote an article detailing the mysterious lack of money movement (known as money velocity) despite the Dow Jones and S&P at record highs.
He looked at the same Federal Reserve data, we reviewed this data last August amid the fiscal cliff concerns. Our assumptions were wrong then, leading us to believe that the cause of this might be the absurd amount of money being created by the Central Bank. We're going to do some digging into this and get back to you.
